• Ken Jennings has been the host of Jeopardy! since 2022.
  • The TV personality was nominated for Outstanding Game Show Host at the 2025 Emmy Awards.
  • He is up for the trophy alongside Pop Culture Jeopardy! host Colin Jost.

Ken Jennings has a lot to celebrate when it comes to his time as host of Jeopardy!.

The TV personality made a name for himself after he succeeded the late Alex Trebek as the emcee of the hit quiz show franchise in 2022. While Ken has received plenty of praise for the job he's doing, the Television Academy decided to recognize all the work he does when the 2025 Emmy Awards nominations came out on July 15. Not only is Jeopardy! nominated for Outstanding Game Show, the franchise's social team also recognized both Ken and Colin Jost (who hosts Pop Culture Jeopardy!) being nominated for Outstanding Game Show Host.

"Talk about hosts with the most!" the caption read on Instagram. "Congratulations to both @whoiskenjennings and @colinjost, and the whole Jeopardy! team on the 140th Emmy® nominations for the show! Thank you @televisionacad!"

After fans saw the news about Ken's exciting television achievement, they got into a frenzy about how thrilled they were for him.

"Congrats Ken. For sure Alex Trebek is proud of you above," one person exclaimed in the comments. "Congratulations Ken!! It’s because of YOU!!! You are just too good ... the banter, the witty comments makes Jeopardy more enjoyable to watch ❤️," another replied. "Ken is beyond deserving! He's completely come into his own on this show!" a different follower added.

Now, fans should know this isn't the only time Ken has been nominated for an Emmy Award over the years. This is technically his fourth nod overall from the Television Academy, and his third time being recognized in this category since 2023.

As for how Ken is feeling about the accomplishment, he hasn't publicly said anything about it. But given how he's about to release a new book at the end of July and make a cameo in Happy Gilmore 2, we're sure he's proud to have received such a huge recognition.

Fingers crossed that Ken gets the Emmy this year!
