The Wimbledon Tennis Championships saw a sunny 80 degrees for the last day of the tournament, which ended in Jannik Sinner beating Carlos Alcaraz. A starry lineup of guests flooded the stands at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club—despite the heat—for the exciting men’s final match, and VIPs showed off their summer best in airy tennis whites and breezy suits.
Princess Catherine and Princess Charlotte, who arrived in elegant dresses and posh hairdos, had the most relatable reaction to the heat. In the middle of the match, as the sun came down hard, the royals were seen fanning themselves with white Wimbledon fans. Kate put on a large, floppy raffia sunhat, and Charlotte slipped on some brown tortoiseshell sunglasses and was seen sipping water.
For the day, Charlotte wore a little white dress with a ruffled neckline adorned with black lines and a little bow. She completed the look with sweet white ballerina flats, and her hair was styled in a pretty, braided ’do. Kate, meanwhile, was lovely in an Easter-blue dress with a bow detail on one shoulder, and tan pumps. She presented Sinner and Alcaraz with their trophies at the end of the match.
While Kate and Charlotte coordinated in dresses and sun protection, Prince William and Prince George matched in suits. Both wore blue blazers and ties. William wore his with a white shirt and white trousers, while George wore a sky-blue shirt and navy suit pants.
Kate attended the tennis tournament solo a day prior, to watch the women’s finals. Then, she was a dream in an ivory military-style jacket that she styled with a pleated skirt in the same hue, and suede pumps.
