As the nominations for the 2025 Emmy Awards were announced on July 15, viewers learned that Paradise received four nods across multiple categories for the ceremony. But perhaps the most exciting nomination of all came for Sterling, who's up for a trophy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal of Xavier Collins.
Shortly after the Emmy nominations came out, the show's social team had to comment on Sterling's major achievement on Instagram. "Congratulations @sterlingkbrown," read the caption. "Emmy nominee for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. #ParadiseHulu #Emmys2025."
Given how much people love to watch Sterling on Paradise, it made sense for everyone to celebrate the news along with him.

Now, fans may remember this isn't the only time Sterling has been recognized at the Emmy Awards. The actor has been nominated 11 times over the course of his career, snagging three wins for his roles on This Is Us, The Dogs of War and The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.
As far as the other awards Paradise is up for at the Emmy Awards, the show is up for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (for James Marsden's role as President Cal Bradford), Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (for Juliette Nicholson's role as Samantha "Sinatra" Redmond) and Outstanding Drama Series.
Congrats, Sterling and we'll be rooting for you!
