Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are taking their work on TV to a whole new genre.
Back in 2022, fans of the Live With Kelly and Mark co-hosts learned the couple had become part owners of the Campobasso FC soccer team based in Campobasso, Italy. Since then, viewers have seen the duo attend various games, make appearances at the team's home base, the Stadio Antonio Molinari, and plenty more. But now, Kelly and Mark decided to pull back the curtain on what it took to purchase the soccer team.
In an announcement made by Mark on Instagram, he and Kelly revealed they teamed up with ESPN to star in a docuseries about the Campobasso FC. Titled Running With Wolves, the four-part series is set to premiere on July 29, 2025 on the network. And if that's not enough to entice you, the show also dropped a first look trailer for folks to see ahead of time.
"Proud and excited to announce our new ESPN Original series Running with the Wolves — an inside look at the underdog rise of our Campobasso Football Club," Mark wrote in the caption on July 9. "Premieres July 29 on ESPN and ESPN+."
Shortly after Kelly and Mark broke the thrilling TV update, the couple's daughter Lola Consuelos put in her two cents about the career venture.
"Forzzaaaaaaa," she replied in the comments, translating to "force" in English.
Just like Lola, fans were equally excited to watch the latest project coming from Kelly and Mark.
"Bravo 👏 Congratulations, can’t wait to watch this 💚🤍❤️," one person penned. "Well deserved ⚽️ you could do @livekellyandmark show in the stadium!!! I’ve always wanted to travel to Italy 🇮🇹 It’s worth a try!!" another suggested. "This looks interesting and fun 😃," a different follower responded.
As far as what fans cans expect from Running With Wolves, a report from Deadline said the show will "follow Campobasso FC as they enter the 2025 campaign." What's more, the series will feature Kelly and Mark in pivotal moments as they realize what truly goes into owning an international soccer team.
"Running with the Wolves is a soccer story rooted in heart, determination, and never giving up," Mark and Kelly said in an official statement, per the outlet. "Campobasso FC represents the underdog that lives in all of us. Building the Campobasso FC project from the ground-up has been one of the wildest and most rewarding adventures we’ve ever taken on, and we can’t wait for new and longtime fans to join us for this ride. We are just getting started."
