Heads up, HGTV fans — you're going to want to know this piece of information about the Property Brothers' upcoming shows on the network.
Drew and Jonathan Scott have hosted a plethora of TV shows for HGTV over the years, and they are set to star in two upcoming shows: a new series called Chasing the West, and season 2 of Don't Hate Your House With the Property Brothers. Even though the brothers have become synonymous with HGTV at this point in their careers, the network is now switching things up.
According to a report from EntertainmentNow (via TV Insider), HGTV is making some surprise scheduling changes amid an overhaul in their TV content. Announced in an official press release from Warner Bros. Discovery, Chasing the West's original July 10 premiere is being delayed. The show will now debut on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 9 p.m. ET. What's more, while Don't Hate Your House With the Property Brothers was previously announced as returning on July 30, the statement added that fans will now have to wait until "later this year."
"We grew up on a ranch in some of the most beautiful country around, and now we're helping a new generation of people achieve that dream," Drew previously said in an official statement about Chasing the West.
"The lessons we've learned and our passion for the ways of the West made us who we are, and we wouldn't trade it for the world," Jonathan added.
Despite the delay in Jonathan and Drew's other TV projects, let's not forget they're still on TV this summer! The latest season of their hit show Celebrity IOU premiered on July 9 on HGTV, and the brothers helped out Superman star Rachel Brosnahan with a kitchen renovation for loved ones.
As fans know, several HGTV stars have recently announced that their shows are being cancelled by the network — Farmhouse Fixer, Married to Real Estate, Bargain Block, Izzy Does It and Battle on the Beach. While no reason was given by the network, postponing the Property Brothers shows may also have to do with changes happening behind-the-scenes.
No matter the case, at least we know that we can still tune in to see the Property Brothers!
