Ben and Erin Napier may be known for their home improvement expertise, but their latest Instagram video has us thinking they have the potential to be running things over at HGTV.

While working on a particularly sweltering summer day, Erin took a break from the heat to share a TV show pitch on Instagram, and we can all agree that the concept is genius.

In the video, the Home Town host picks up her phone to propose the new HGTV show idea, saying, "It's demo day and it's so, so hot and so sweaty and I was thinking how fun it would be if we also made a show where Ben and I sit in a dark movie theatre like Mystery Science Theater."

Right on cue, Ben dramatically pops into the video adding, "But instead of sci-fi movies, we watch like old Nancy Meyers movies—you know, like Parent Trap." Erin agreed, adding, "It's our obsession in real life. Now what if we just made a show about it that you can watch?"

The concept is simple yet irresistible if you ask us. Just imagine Ben and Erin cozied up in a movie theatre and watching some of your favorite classic films—especially ones with dreamy homes and interiors. Erin continued to explain that they're not looking to become film critics sharing commentary on the acting or plot, but rather use their talents to analyze set design. The Home Town duo would break down what each character's home says about them, analyze the design choices, and of course, find a way to bring their signature charm to every episode.

"HGTV has absolutely not said that they want to make this show," Erin clarified with a laugh. "But we're crowd sourcing," Ben added, encouraging fans to weigh in...and weigh in they did!

Fans flooded the comment section of the video with a resounding "Heck yes!" One follower wrote, "We love you guys. We would watch anything that you guys make." Chris Stapleton's wife Morgane chimed in by writing, "More than in. Obsessed with this. Yes please!!!" Even Country Living's own editor-in-chief Rachel Barrett simply wrote, "Will watch this!"

Others chimed in with ideas of movies Ben and Erin should potentially watch for the show idea. Some of the movies fans suggested include Yours, Mine & Ours, It's a Wonderful Life, Home Alone, and Family Stone.

Whether the Napier's idea becomes a real series or stays a dreamy summer day pitch, one thing's clear: they sure know exactly how to keep fans on their toes.
