Back in July 2000, the Hallmark actress surprised her fans when she married her boyfriend Dave Sanov. The couple had known each other since they were kids (their parents were friends), and People reported the two connected as adults after drifting apart when he went to college and she started acting on Days of Our Lives. What's more, Alison and Dave later expanded their family when they welcomed son Ben in 2005 and daughter Megan in 2009.
Well, 25 years after their wedding, the married duo are as happy as ever — and Alison celebrated their wedding anniversary with a heartfelt update.
As Alison shared a rare selfie of her and Dave on Instagram on July 8, she had a message to share about how the two celebrated this important day in their relationship. "Can you believe it? We’re celebrating our 25th anniversary tonight. ❤️❤️," she wrote. "Time flies when you’re having fun. We had a wonderful dinner sharing memories and telling each other that we look exactly the same. Lol. 😂."
Given how Alison doesn't often share moments with Dave online, this update had fans wanting to celebrate the couple's romantic milestone with them.
"Happy 25th Anniversary! May you have many more anniversaries ahead! 🎉🍾🥂💞," one person wished them in the comments. "Happy anniversary to both of you. You look so incredibly happy and you deserve to be," another replied. "Congratulations! Wishing you both lots of love and laughter for the next 25! ❤️❤️," a different follower penned.
While Alison and Dave keep their relationship mostly under the wraps, the actress isn't afraid to express how much she appreciates Dave's presence in their family's life. As she shared in a post for Father's Day back in June, Alison is grateful for everything Dave does to be a support for their loved ones.
