  • The TV personality reacted to the news of her latest career achievement on Instagram.

Robin Roberts just reached the pinnacle of her career as a TV personality — and she's celebrating it alongside someone she works very closely with.

For the last three decades, fans have seen Robin shine as a news anchor every weekday on Good Morning America. But that's not all she's accomplished, as she's created her own production company, written books and pursued other ventures. Well, Los Angeles-based business organization the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce (HCC) is now recognizing all the achievements Robin has made over the years in a very special way.

In an announcement made on July 2, the HCC revealed Robin and her GMA co-anchor George Stephanopoulos were both chosen to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2026. And if that wasn't enough, GMA's social team had to share the excitement about it in an Instagram post the same day.

"Our very own @robinrobertsgma and @gstephanopoulos are set to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! ⭐️," the caption read. "They're joining @michaelstrahan who received a star in 2023. Robin and George will be part of the new 2026 class of 35 entertainment professionals selected to receive stars by the Hollywood Walk of Fame Selection Committee. Congratulations to all!"

As fans learned of Robin's unexpected career update, they were beside themselves about this incredible moment for her.

"Congratulations!! Well deserved 👏👏 the best morning crew 😊," one person cheered in the comments. "Finally!! Congratulations!! ❤️," another exclaimed. "Oh I am thrilled 👏👏 Congratulations ❤️ 🎊 👏 💐 🥳, a different follower added.

What an amazing time in Robin's life to receive such an incredible honor! Clearly Robin is emotional about getting her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as she expressed her feelings about it in a video shared on GMA's Instagram page a day after the announcement.

"It's just now sinking in," she sated in the clip posted on July 3. "The Hollywood Walk of Fame! Oh my goodness. I am incredibly honored — and to be going with George! A double ceremony. It means so much. I gotta tell you — this little girl from Mississippi says thank you to all."

Congrats, Robin!
