Alison Sweeney is back in the movie mystery game — and she's baking something up sooner than fans may think.
The Days of Our Lives alum just debuted two new movies on Hallmark, as part of the network's annual "Passport to Love" programming event. Well, it looks like Alison's TV movie premieres aren't over this month, as Hallmark Mystery dropped some incredible news about her next project.
Posting on Instagram on June 16, fans learned that Alison would be reprising her role as Hannah Swensen in the new Hallmark film Pie to Die For: a Hannah Swensen Mystery. And most exciting, the movie is set to debut this Sunday, June 22, 2025 at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Mystery.
"This mystery is personal for Hannah! 🥧," the caption read. "Can she work with Chad to solve the case? Watch Pie to Die For: A #HannahSwensen Mystery Sunday at 8/7c. Streaming next day on @HallmarkPlus."
As soon as fans realized Alison would be coming back to portray Hannah Swensen in another film, they couldn't hold back their excitement.
"Oh, I will be there, and I’ll be making a pie! 🥧 🍌," one person wrote in the comments. "Looking forward to this new movie! Love this mystery series," another agreed. "Finally a new mystery!!! And it’s Hannah which makes it even better!" a different follower added.
Well, we're certainly surprised by this unexpected news! And for those wondering, Pie to Die For is actually the 12th installment in the Hannah Swensen Mysteries franchise. Talk about a runaway success!
As far as what Pie to Die For will be about, Hallmark's website notes it will follow Hannah as she solves the mystery of how one of her customers (and her mom Delores [Barbara Niven]'s theater rival) was unexpectedly murdered. As she works on finding the culprit, she also explores love with attorney Chad Norton (Victor Webster).
Now, this is something we definitely need to tune in for!
