Jenna Bush Hager is switching up her look — and we seriously can't get over it!
The Today show host is famous for wearing her blonde hair in signature blowout or loose waves whenever she gets on camera for the daytime series. But Jenna was in the mood to embrace some change, as she switched up her look for the summer after being inspired by the hairstyle actress Leslie Bibb wore in The White Lotus season 3.
Well, Jenna made good on her promise when Leslie (who is a guest host on Today With Jenna and Friends this week) and celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan both appeared on the June 16 episode. After making the initial chop live on air, folks got to see Jenna's new blonde bob with framing pieces when she walked into Studio 1A the next day to tape the show's fourth hour.
"WE LOVEEEE THE BOB, @jennabhager!! 😍," Today With Jenna and Friends' social team wrote in the caption on Instagram. "THANK YOU @mrchrismcmillan! 💇♀️."
Given how Jenna isn't necessarily one to undergo a dramatic hair transformation, seeing her embrace a new hairstyle left viewers absolutely stunned online.
"Looks amazing so youthful ... I guess I know what I’m doing this week 😂," one person wrote in the comments. "The bob is bobbing!!!!!!" another exclaimed. "Looks fabulous!!! 💖," a different follower added.
Well, we certainly know what kind of look we're bringing to our stylists for our next haircut! And for those wondering how Jenna's family reacted to the chic fashion choice, it turned out her kids (Mila, Poppy and Hal Hager) weren't too thrilled by it. But as for her husband Henry Hager, well, he had a reaction she didn't expect at all.
"The best thing is my husband did like it," she noted in a clip posted on Decider's Instagram. He was like, 'D---, that's hot.' Which was sweet."
We love to see a supportive family, and we sure can't wait to see how Jenna changes up her look in the future!
