• Sterling K. Brown stars in the hit Hulu drama Paradise.
  • Season 2 of Paradise is currently in production.
  • Fans learned Sterling's wife, Ryan Michelle Bathé, will appear in Paradise season 2.

As Paradise season 2 continues filming new episodes, fans are curious to find out what's to come on the hit Hulu series. Well, we just got some majorscoop — and it has to do with none other than the show's star, Sterling K. Brown.

In an announcement exclusively made by Variety on June 12, fans learned about another actress set to appear in Paradise season 2. Fans likely already know that Shailene Woodley and Thomas Doherty have been announced as new actors joining the upcoming installment. Now, it seems the show looked a little bit closer to Sterling's home to help expand the cast list for season 2.

As it turns out, Sterling's wife, actress Ryan Michelle Bathé, is set to guest star at some point in Paradise season 2. And as the outlet also noted, the show is purposely keeping her character and storyline under wraps to add on to the mystery of what's to come this season.

For those who aren't familiar with Ryan's work, her IMDB page states she is well known for shows like All Rise, The Endgame, First Wives Club and Boston Legal. Additionally, fans of This Is Us may recognize her for her portrayal of Yvette over the course of four episodes on the show. And in the sweetest twist of events, she and Sterling have actually shared the screen together when they both appeared on Army Wives back in 2012. Plus, when the two aren't busy working on TV, they also co-host the We Don’t Always Agree with Ryan & Sterling podcast that focuses on love and relationships.

Even though Sterling and Ryan have yet to speak out about working together on Paradise season 2, they did stop by The Jennifer Hudson Show in September 2024 to share what has kept their marriage so strong after being married for close to two decades.

"The secret to being together for 20 years is try not to be tired of each other at the same time!" he joked while on the daytime program. "Every once in a while, we get tired of each other — it's just not at the same time!"

Well, we're certainly intrigued by how Ryan's appearance will be folded into Paradise season 2 when the time comes.
