As Good Morning America enters a new era, Robin Roberts is saying goodbye to the show's longtime home.

Fans may know that ABC talk shows like Live With Kelly and Mark and The View all moved downtown to film in the network's new location in the SoHo area of New York City. The only series that hadn't partaken in the big shakeup was Good Morning America, which continued shooting out of its iconic studio overlooking Times Square. Well, it looks like Robin is now bidding farewell to GMA's beloved set of 26 years, as it was revealed that the show will also move downtown and film in the same building as its other daytime counterparts.

Ahead of GMA's final episode in Times Square airing on Friday, June 13, 2025 on ABC, Robin went on Instagram to share her thoughts on what it's meant for her to work at the old set. What's more, she reflected on what working on GMA has been for her as she embarks on a new journey with the show.

"I just remember thinking, 'I'm a little girl from Mississippi and I'm working in Times Square,'" she shared in the clip. "it's just so majestic ... I just remember just the energy and just looking around going, 'This is our home?' And all these years later, it still feels that way."

When fans saw Robin's heartfelt note about GMA moving downtown, they had to comment about embracing the change online.

"What a ride and I have watched it from the beginning, my favorite GMA👍👏💕🥰," one person wrote in the comments. "Woah?!???!!! An iconic location! 😢," another declared. "I remember that day. The few years I spent at that studio were some pretty amazing times," a different follower added.

Despite the move downtown, Robin is insistent that GMA is still going to be the same show everyone knows it as. And as she stated in the Instagram clip above, "It never gets old to say, 'Good morning, America.'"

Congrats, and we can't wait to see what's next!
