The Today show crew had quite a chaotic moment on Tuesday.
It all started when Al Roker, who was getting ready to give the weather report, started speaking into his mic, but no one could hear him.
"Hello? Is your mic on?" you can hear Craig Melvin say in a clip posted on Instagram and TikTok while Al tries to see what's going on. As Craig and Savannah Guthrie were harmlessly teasing Al, Carson Daly got up to help him out. "It's on — it should be good now. Is it on? ... I need the radio guy to help," Al said.
"Testing one, two, three," Carson added before going off on a beatboxing tangent.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight!"
Given how Al and co. don't usually experience mishaps like this, fans were delighted to see the Today crew joke around and have fun.
"You all were so unhinged this morning and I loved all of it! Carson is usually so serious, it was fun to see him be a little silly. 🧡," one person cracked up in the comments. "Just another day on the today show 👏👏👏😂❤️," another penned. "This was so real and so fun," someone else wrote.
Even the Today show posted "just your average early morning chaos," on the clip.
