Kelly Clarkson knows a thing or two about singing musical covers โ€” and her latest performance has fans absolutely speechless.

Ever since the singer launched The Kelly Clarkson Show back in 2019, fans tune in every weekday to see her popular "Kellyoke" musical segment. Given how she's done everything from covering today's popular artists to creating new renditions of her own music, it certainly came as a surprise to hear what song Kelly chose to perform for the May 29 taping of her hit NBC daytime series.

Appearing on stage in a simple red long-sleeved top and blue jeans, the original American Idol winner blew everyone away with her cover of Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart." What's more, she subtly performed the tune with The Kelly Clarkson Show vocal director Jessi Collins, who provided backup vocals to the hit '80s track.

"YES. 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' by @bonnietylerofficial," the caption read when a video of the performance was posted on The Kelly Clarkson Show's Instagram.

When fans witnessed Kelly dip into the classics with this "Kellyoke" cover, they couldn't stop raving about it on social media.

"Every hair on my body is standing up! My breath taken away! ๐Ÿ”ฅ," one person wrote in the Instagram comments. "I could just listen to every song in the world sung by Kelly for the rest of my life, she is like a music magician or something," another declared. "Kelly Clarkson will forever be one of the greatest female vocalists ever ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป absolutely phenomenal ๐Ÿ”ฅ," a different follower added.

We're certainly stunned after watching this incredible vocal performance! And this isn't the only time we've been rendered speechless by one of Kelly's vocal covers. We've seen her make iconic movie songs her own, channel her inner '80s diva with Whitney Houston covers, and even pay homage to her former mother-in-law Reba McEntire with tunes that we honestly think about to this day.

Now, can Kelly release a full-length album of "Kellyoke" covers soon, please?
