Who's ready for more When Calls the Heart? Even though the show's season 13 isn't out yet on Hallmark, it looks like we're getting to see one of the actors try their hand at a new project.
As part of Hallmark's annual "Passport to Love" event beginning on June 7, a few beloved actors from the network are debuting new movies for viewers to watch throughout the month. Turns out Kevin McGarry (who plays Nathan Grant on WCTH) is partaking in the yearly movie programming, as he's set to star in a new movie called Villa Amore alongside Eloise Mumford.
Airing on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark, When Calls the Heart's social team called out Kevin's big movie news by alerting folks to the exciting announcement on Instagram.
"Save the date, Hearties!" the caption read alongside a photo of Kevin and Eloise on May 21. "@kevin_mcgarry_w stars in Villa Amore alongside the talented @eloisemumford coming to @hallmarkchannel June 21st at 8/7c. See you there!"
When fans saw Kevin had a new project airing on Hallmark this summer, they rushed to the comments to share how thrilled they were about the prospect.
"So excited for this! 🙌🇮🇹❤️," one person exclaimed. "So can’t wait to see Kevin McGarry in his first ever destination movie! It looks incredible!" another agreed. "❤️ Been waiting a long while for a new @kevin_mcgarry_w movie. Thank you @hallmarkchannel ❣️," a different follower added.
So, what is Villa Amore going to be about? According to the official movie page on Hallmark's official website, the movie follows a woman named Liara who buys the Italian villa where her parents met on impulse. As she travels to Italy to see the property in person, she realizes she needs a lot of help in the upkeep of it. As a result, she turns to a lawyer-slash-handyman to help her out on the project ... but there may be more than just renovations in store for her.
Well, this definitely sounds like something we can get behind! And since there's still some time before When Calls the Heart season 13 officially premieres, why not get another chance to see Kevin in action?
