Kerry Washington is making her way back to a popular streaming site ... and fans will seriously want to pay attention to this.

The actress is well known for starring as Olivia Pope in the hit ABC drama Scandal. Running for seven seasons from 2012 to 2018, people tuned in every week to watch her portray a former media consultant to the president who has aspirations outside of working in the White House. But as she opens her own crisis management firm, Olivia can't seem to forget the past she initially tried to move on from.

Needless to say, the show was extremely successful and people continue to watch it long after Scandal ended. However, the show hasn't been available to stream for free on Netflix in five years — it was removed in May 2020, per Collider. But in a surprise move from Netflix, the streamer revealed viewers can once again watch all seven seasons of the show on the site beginning on June 17, 2025.

"On June 17 we're all watching SCANDAL again," read the official caption on Instagram on May 19, featuring a meme of Kerry as Olivia and Tony Goldwyn, who portrayed President Fitzgerald Grant III.

When fans realized they'd have the chance to see Kerry in a new way on Netflix, they were excited for the prospect to rewatch Scandal all over again.

"FINALLY!!! I’ve been waiting for y'all to bring this back! It belongs on Netflix!" one person wrote in the comments. "Okkkkkkkk another rewatch is due then," another agreed. "Finally I’ll be able to watch it 🙌🏾," a different follower added.

Well, this news is certainly exciting! And if that wasn't enough, Kerry decided she'd leave Scandal viewers in a frenzy shortly before the news of the show's return to Netflix was revealed. She shared old Instagram photos of her with Tony from when they both attended the premiere of Ezra in May 2024, and Kerry expressed how appreciative she is of the friendship the two maintained over the years.

"What we should act like on the carpet vs. what we actually act like on the carpet," she wrote on May 20. "All laughs and smiles and love with you ALWAYS @tonygoldwyn, love you endlessly TV LOML. #ScandalFam ❤️."

Now, excuse us as we mark our calendars to make sure we get our Scandal fix this June ...
