With 9-1-1 making waves with so much change in the last few weeks, it's only fair people are still in their feelings about the death of Bobby Nash (Peter Krause). In fact, they're so in their feelings, the sudden death of the beloved character could impact the whole franchise.

Back in March, fans of the ABC drama learned a spinoff series would be airing on ABC in the fall of 2025. Titled 9-1-1: Nashville, the show will feature actors Chris O'Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes and Kimberly Williams-Paisley in starring roles. What's more, ABC decided to give a teaser on what's to come with a new video posted on Instagram on May 13.

"The 9-1-1 Universe is expanding with Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes and Kimberly Williams-Paisley!" the caption read about the show's premiere. "Watch them star in #911Nashville this fall on ABC and Hulu."

While many fans were excited to see the latest expansion to the 9-1-1 franchise, others had some thoughts about if they'd tune in to 9-1-1: Nashville. Mainly, they wanted the show to bring back Bobby in some shape or form before watching the spinoff.

"You better give us Bobby Nash back first," one person stated in the comments. "Didn’t have to kill Bobby for this spinoff but whatever!!!!!" another exclaimed. "Don’t care. Give us back the only Nash that matters, BOBBY NASH," a different follower added.

As fans know, Bobby's death came as a sacrifice to his Station 118 team after they got trapped in a hazardous biolab. The aftermath of this tragedy continues to be felt throughout the rest of 9-1-1 season 8 — and likely will do so when the show returns for season 9 in the fall of 2025.

As for what 9-1-1: Nashville will be about, TV Line writes the show will revolve around Captain Don Sharpe (played by Chris),"a rugged fire captain and rodeo rider who runs Nashville’s busiest firehouse with his beloved son. "Don’s a devoted husband and family man but he has his secrets."

Although we're bummed about Bobby too, we're still definitely going to tune into the new show!
