Jimmy Fallon just said what we're all thinking about Kelly Clarkson.

The Tonight Show host recently made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show to promote his new book, Papa Doesn't Do Anything!. During their chat, the duo took time to recount memorable moments in their long-running careers.

When Kelly decided to reveal some secrets behind the American Idol season 1 finale back in 2002 (which she won, BTW), she described the moment of singing a song she didn't know on the fly as being a "bad" instance for her. But Kelly's description of the incident had her thinking she made the sound of a goat, which she voiced while on the air.

"It was real bad, but whatever," she stated in a clip posted on Instagram. "Why did I just sound like a goat? Anyway ... "

This led Jimmy to make a bold statement about Kelly, which he accompanied with a dramatic move of his own.

"Because you are the G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time)!" Jimmy replied before getting off the couch to walk off-stage. "Come on now! Take care β€” bye, everybody!"

When fans saw this unexpected exchange between the two talk show hosts, it didn't take long before the comments flooded in about it.

"Well said Jimmy πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ mother definitely is the goat ❀️❀️❀️," one person wrote. "Loved this!! πŸ”₯πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ”₯πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ”₯ You 2 are awesome & hilarious!! Loved the Goat 🐐 part!! Baaa!! πŸ€—," another chuckled. "He’s correct! You are the GOAT!!" a different follower added.

If only we were in the room where this happened! And as fans know, this isn't the only time a guest of Kelly's has commented about her status in Hollywood. Folks may remember Simu Liu joking how "annoying talented" Kelly was when it came to her popular "Kellyoke" segment back in May 2024, stating she's just a "walking musical" while on the air.
