Well, well, well. LeAnn Rimes is taking over Nashville in a different way ... and fans are loving the unique way she confirmed her big news.

On May 8, Deadline announced an exciting new venture in the country singer's long-standing career. As someone involved in both the worlds of country music and acting, it was revealed she's taking on a new role in the 9-1-1 TV spinoff, 9-1-1: Nashville. Already confirmed to air on ABC during the fall of 2025, she will join an ensemble cast that currently includes Chris O'Donnell, Jessica Capshaw and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.

So, how did LeAnn react to this exciting new update on her latest venture? Well, she expressed how excited she is for what's to come in an Instagram post uploaded the same day the news broke.

"Somebody call 911 (nashville) 🚒," she wrote in the caption. "The secret’s out! I’m super excited to be joining @ryanmurphyproductions 9-1-1: Nashville alongside @chrisodonnell, @jessicacapshaw & @kimberlywilliamspaisley. I can’t wait for you to meet my character. we’re going to have some FUN!! Here’s to a new adventure!"

When fans saw LeAnn's reaction to joining the cast of 9-1-1: Nashville, they were so excited to watch her on this journey.

"That’s a bit exciting 👏🥰," one person wrote in the comments. "AMAZING, @leannrimes!! ✨✨ Big, big, big CONGRATS! Looking forward to checking it out. (They have a new viewer now!) 📺," another cheered. "Amazin', LeAnn!! I can't wait to watch!! All the 911 shows are always so great. Congrats, girl!! Much love 💞," a different follower added.

Now, it's unclear exactly how her as-yet-unnamed character will be folded into the 9-1-1 universe. But as revealed by TVLine in March 2025, the show will follow a "a rugged fire captain and rodeo rider who runs Nashville’s busiest firehouse with his beloved son." And with the show taking place in the "Music City," it's likely country music will have its own starring role as well.

Congrats, LeAnn and can't wait to see you on our TV screens!
