It's official: Dolly Parton is headed to Broadway...kind of. The queen of country is no stranger to being front and center on stage, but with her upcoming pre-Broadway show, it's time for not one, but THREE other actors to step into Dolly's bedazzled cowboy boots.

Dolly: An Original Musical is set to premiere in July at the Fisher Center in Nashville. The show will take fans on a journey through the life of Dolly Parton, from her barefoot beginnings in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee to her legendary career that led her to be the icon that she is today. And, of course, you can't have a Broadway musical without music. From "Jolene" to "9 to 5" and even new songs written by Dolly herself, the show will give fans a whole new perspective on the country artist's life.

"I've lived my whole life to see this show on stage," said Dolly. "I've written many original songs for the show and included all your favorites in it as well. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll clap, you'll stomp, it truly is a Grand Ol' Opera. Pun and fun intended."

Last year, Dolly launched a nationwide search looking for the perfect person to play her on stage. The star had open auditions and after thousands of video submissions, the team landed on three talented ladies.

In order to show fans the progression of her impressive life, three actresses were recently tapped to portray Dolly. Katie Rose Clarke, Carrie St. Louis, and Quinn Titcomb will each play the country music icon at different stages of her life.

Quinn Titcomb, who made her professional acting debut at just five-years-old as Lulu in the Broadway tour of Waitress, will play the youngest version of Dolly and take us through her upbringing in rural Tennessee. Katie Rose Clarke and Carrie St. Louis will obviously take on the roles of an older version of Dolly, although it's unclear which stages of the country star's career they'll each be portraying.

With so much excitement behind the project, the show has already announced a two-week extension due to high ticket demand. Tickets are available online or in person at the Belmont Box Office in Nashville.
