Alison Sweeney is continuing her longtime partnership with Hallmark ... and what she just revealed has fans in a total frenzy.
Ever since the Days of Our Lives alum first appeared on the TV network back in 2015, fans love seeing her in the different projects she's worked on over the years. Well, Alison is officially coming back to the small screen in a big way — and her next project is coming up sooner than you may think.
Sharing her big announcement on Instagram, Alison revealed she and her friend, actress Ashley Williams, are starring in two movies for Hallmark's annual "Passport to Love" event in June 2025. Their films To Barcelona, With Love and To Barcelona, Forever are set to air on June 7 and June 14 respectively, and Alison was particularly excited for folks to see what they both worked on for the network.
"Ashley & I are so excited to announce the projects we’ve been hinting at all year," she wrote in the caption on May 1. "To Barcelona, With Love & To Barcelona, Forever are movies all about fun, romance & friendship - and of course gorgeous Barcelona! They will kick off @hallmarkchannel's annual Passport to Love on Saturday, June 7, and Saturday, June 14 (8 p.m. ET/PT). I’m so grateful to have been able to work with @ashleywilliamsandcompany @ronoliver @julie_sherman_wolfe @craig_baumgarten on this adventure!"
When fans saw Alison's new project would air on Hallmark soon, they were so ready to share their excitement in the comments.
"Yay!! I can’t wait. So much fun 😍," one person wrote. "Really looking forward to these movies!!" another exclaimed. "I know these movies will be fabulous… Can’t wait to see some of Barcelona! Thank you to Hallmark for bringing both of you together. 😇," a different follower added.
Now, this is the TV news we've all been waiting for! And for those who may recognize Ashley from Alison's posts, she also has been part of the Hallmark family for some time. In fact, she is also currently the host of Small Town Setup, one of the new reality TV shows streaming on Hallmark+.
Congrats, Alison and we can't wait!
