The 2025 Met Gala is officially in full swing — and Al Roker and Deborah Roberts are seriously the picture-perfect couple!
In early May, the Today show host revealed he'd be attending the 2025 Met Gala for the first time as a correspondent for NBC. And Al made sure to pull out all the stops while attending the star-studded event as he honored the theme of "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" with a black and gray suit ensemble — complete with a matching top hat. While Al definitely looked dapper for the big night, it was his wife, journalist Deborah Roberts, who really stole the show.
As Deborah made her way on the Met Gala red carpet, — she's also covering the Met Gala for ABC's "Live from the Met" special! — she showed off her custom white gown made by designer Mark Ingram for the event. What's more, her outfit played up the look of an old-school tuxedo as she wore stylish ankle-length pants and her own top hat as an accessory.
Although the two didn't walk the carpet together, they did bump into each other and shared an iconic moment together, which Al shared on Instagram.
"Nice to see you. You look great," Deborah says, laughing to Al. "So do you," he responded, to which Deborah says, "I didn't know you were coming."
Naturally, seeing both Al and Deborah at one of the biggest fashion events of the year left everyone thrilled in the comments.
"Stunners! 🤩," one person exclaimed. "Uncle Al looking sharp 🖤 and Mrs Deborah 🔥," another declared. "You all are the cutest freaking couple Ever!! You look snazzy Al but your wife looks stunning!! Have fun!! 🩷🩷," a different follower added. "Wow oh wow," another wrote.
Needless to say, Al and Deborah need to have more fashion moments like this — both on and off-camera.
