Kelly Clarkson is officially back on the music scene โ€” and let's just say fans are delighted about it!

Back in January, followers of The Kelly Clarkson Show host were waiting for her music return after she revealed she started her own record label called High Road Records. After teasing what fans could expect from the next era of her singing career, Kelly thrilled fans by releasing her latest single "Where Have You Been" on May 2. And if that wasn't enough, she didn't just release her newest song that day.

To accompany the new track, Kelly surprised fans by releasing an official music video for "Where Have You Been" online. Posting the four-minute video on YouTube, viewers saw her performing with her band in a studio along with what appeared to be a forest-like set. What's more, the original American Idol winner looked absolutely stunning in a green and gold sequined jumpsuit, with her blonde hair impeccably styled and smoky makeup to match the overall vibe of the music video.

As soon as fans got the chance to see Kelly's latest music video in full, it didn't take long before they began praising her for this long-awaited career update.

"'Where Have You Been' is right Queen! I was just thinking to myself I really wish you'd drop another Masterpiece and then WHAM! Love this ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–," one person wrote. "This is what a real singer sounds like. Kelly you're going to go down in history as a legend. Love you!" another exclaimed. "She back!! I think this song is love letter to herself! I can feel her confidence through the screen!! โค๏ธ," a different follower replied.

We certainly agree โ€” Kelly is absolutely captivating our attention with this incredible music comeback! And this is all happening as she's set to host another music residency at the Colosseum in Las Vegas this year, with the first stint beginning on July 4.

In the meantime, if Kelly wants to share more new songs for fans to enjoy, we certainly wouldn't mind.
