Dylan Dreyer is sharing an update on her Today co-star Sheinelle Jones — and fans will want to know what she had to say.

Ever since Sheinelle took a leave of absence beginning in December 2024 (per People), fans of the NBC morning show have wanted to know when she is expected to make a return to TV. While Sheinelle spoke out about taking time off for personal matters, it's clear her fellow co-hosts are rooting for her to come back to Today whenever she's ready to do so. And as Dylan shared with E! News on May 3, they all have Sheinelle in mind as she takes care of things away from the spotlight.

"[Sheinelle's] doing all right," Dylan told the outlet while attending the 2025 Kentucky Derby. "She's hanging in there. We're praying for her and her family. You know, she's just going through a tough time with her family."

That's not all Dylan expressed about Sheinelle's absence. She also noted how her fellow Today co-hosts all make sure to keep in contact with Sheinelle — and they're all excited for the day she comes back to the Today show in a full-time capacity.

"We talk to her every day," Dylan added. "One of us on the team talks to her every single day, and we're there to support her, and we'll welcome her back with open arms the second she can get back to us."

As fans know, this isn't the first time the Today show cast has given viewers an update on Sheinelle as of late. In fact, Dylan, Craig Melvin and Al Roker all spoke out about how they're making sure to support her while she needs to take time off from being on TV. And while we don't know how much longer it will be until Sheinelle returns to Today, it seems we can count on her co-stars to keep audiences in the loop.

"She wishes she was here with us," Dylan told Access Hollywood in April. "She's doing what she needs to do and she'll be back."

We're sending all our love and support to Sheinelle, and we miss her!
