Tyler Perry is teaming back up with Netflix β and fans will want to pay attention to what he has in store.
The media mogul has been busy working on multiple projects, including season 2 of the highly successful drama Beauty in Black for the streamer. But that's not all Tyler is doing with Netflix these days. It turns out he has another TV show in the works β and it's coming sooner than fans would think.
Thanks to an announcement made by Deadline on April 23, folks learned Tyler's new series She the People is set to debut on the site beginning May 22, 2025. What's more, the show will be split into two parts, with the latter half airing just a few months later on August 14, 2025. And to top off all of this incredible news, Tyler went on Instagram the next day to share a sneak peek trailer of what folks can expect from the new project.
"Politics are messy but sheβs making it hilarious," read the caption on April 24. "Terri J. Vaughn stars in Tyler Perryβs SHE THE PEOPLE. The first 8 episodes drop May 22."
