Joanna Gaines is back with an all-new series — and it's coming to TV sooner than you think.
The lifestyle expert is famous for working on home renovation shows with her husband Chip Gaines, and the couple have their own Magnolia Network, which is dedicated to showing off their decor transformations through a number of original series. Well, Joanna is going solo on her next TV project, and she decided to share a first look at it with her social media followers.
Posting a trailer for her new series Mini Reni on Instagram, Joanna announced that her new TV series will air on Max and the Magnolia Network beginning Wednesday, May 14, 2025. What's more, she expressed what makes the show so special to her.
"The beauty of a mini reni is that you’re reimagining the story of a smaller space," she wrote alongside the snippet on April 23. "It’s permission to narrow in, be creative, and embrace the details that make home your favorite place to be."
When fans learned about Joanna's latest TV venture, they were immediately into the idea of having her back on their screens very soon. What's more, they loved that these mini renis feel like something they could actually recreate at home.
"Love this🤍it makes it feel like the things I want to do with our house are actually attainable 🗝️," one person wrote. "Love this! I'm desperate for budget friendly inspiration!! 💛," another echoed. "The original Queen of homestyle is back!!!!! Love this — can’t wait," a different follower exclaimed.
Now, what exactly is Mini Reni about? According to Deadline, the show will follow Joanna as she tries to "inspire viewers of the show to take on their own mini projects at home." Additionally, the show will allow Joanna to "try new ideas and end with these fresh, finished spaces that didn’t require months of work."
As for how Joanna feels about the new project, she told People she's thrilled about people seeing her take this solo show on by herself.
"I love doing the bigger Fixer projects because you get that big before-and-after reveal moment. That’s what I live for; I love those," she noted, referencing her hit series Fixer Upper. "For me, though, as a designer, I have to say, 'Okay, what challenges me the most?' and it’s typically not those bigger projects. It's smaller spaces, tighter timelines and smaller budgets."
You know we'll be tuning in to this!
