This story contains spoilers from When Calls the Heart season 12.

When Calls the Heart fans may be anxiously waiting for season 13 to air on Hallmark — but they're also begging for a certain character to return to the show.

The hit period drama wrapped up season 12 back in March, and fans were so excited to see Melissa Gilbert join the show as inspector Georgie McGill. While they loved seeing her help out Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) and Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) on their case against the Garrison gang, viewers also couldn't help but adore the romantic chemistry brewing between Bill and Georgie.

Well, WCTH decided to share a photo of Melissa and Jack's characters on Instagram, and teased folks by asking for their thoughts on whether the two will come back together in the next installment.

"Do you think we’ll see a reunion of Georgie and Bill in Season 13? 😍," the caption asked on April 22. "Drop your predictions in the comments below!"

Given how Melissa's appearance drove viewers wild, it was only natural they'd love to see her make a grand return to Hope Valley for When Calls the Heart season 13.

"YESSSSSSSS!! Melissa would be a great addition to the cast!! Bill Avery needs a great romance!! ❤️❤️," one person exclaimed. "I hope that Melissa Gilbert will be a regular on WCTH! ❤️," another agreed. "If you are listening, you will add Melissa to the cast! Love this story line! Don’t let it end!" a different follower added.

We so agree — we'd love to see Melissa return to When Calls the Heart for another stint! And if her character Georgie just happened to continue building her bond with Bill ... we don't think anyone would mind it at all.

Now, it's also cool to note Melissa's character isn't the only one being teased for a potential return for When Calls the Heart. The season 12 finale revealed Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) had gotten in touch with her mother-in-law Charlotte Thornton (originally played by Brooke Shields in season 3) about her son Little Jack (Hyland Goodrich)'s diabetes diagnosis. And given how Elizabeth and Little Jack went to visit Cape Fullerton (where Charlotte lives) to help with his health treatment, the show seemingly teased Brooke may just come back for another stint on WCTH.

We'll be crossing our fingers for Melissa to come back ASAP!
