This story contains spoilers from the April 17 episode of 9-1-1 season 8.

It's only been a few days since 9-1-1 fans saw Peter Krause leave the show after eight seasons. But it looks like viewers aren't the only ones heartbroken over the news.

The fate of Peter's character Bobby Nash was sealed on the April 17 episode of 9-1-1 season 8, when fans watched the chief of the 118 die in order to protect his crew in a hazardous bio lab. The shock of Bobby's death caused an uproar from fans, to the point of bombarding the show on social media to air out their feelings of anguish.

Aisha Hinds (who portrays Henrietta "Hen" Wilson) also had some thoughts about her co-star leaving the series after almost a decade. She chose to look back on the time they had together in a special way.

Posting a collection of moments between her and Peter from their time working on 9-1-1 on Instagram, Aisha expressed just how special it was to work with the Parenthood alum so closely over the years.

"Peter Krause is a stunning actor," she wrote on April 19. "His canon of work has always confirmed that, and witnessing him give full breadth, depth, humor, and physical energy to @911onabc episode after episode is a special honor I will never ever take for granted. This has been a cornerstone moment in my career that will live forever. I am grateful to Pete for his leadership. Grateful for the times he took care of my heart in the quiet moments. Grateful for the ways he ignited a laughter that got us through long days and nights."

"I thank him for setting a tone of warmth for every person that came through our little universe," she added. "Grateful for his model of integrity and character …. to the very end ... I celebrate his commitment and contribution to this character and to our show. Love him, always."

When fans saw Aisha's heartfelt dedication to Peter online, it immediately caused a flood of emotions in the comments.

"I'm not crying [you're] crying 😭 ❤️🔥," one person wrote. "I’m sending abc my therapy bills," another declared. "My comfort show will never be the same again 🥲💔," a different follower added.

While co-creator Tim Minear already teased the fact that viewers will feel Bobby's presence in the final episodes of 9-1-1 season 8, we love seeing just how close everyone in the cast is with one another. And as for Hen (and subsequently, Aisha)'s future on the show ... we guess we'll just have to wait and find out what's next.
