Ken Jennings may be the current host of Jeopardy!, but fans have high hopes for him to expand his TV career with other opportunities.
The former Jeopardy! champion has been hosting the hit quiz show franchise since 2022, meaning he's been emceeing for quite some time. Well, it turns out even New York City taxi cabs play Jeopardy!, as Ken discovered while on a recent trip to the Big Apple. As he shared in a series of photos on Instagram, the car he was in was playing an old clip of him hosting Jeopardy!. But as it also seemingly cut to clips of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he had to jokingly call out the experience of watching himself while being driven around Manhattan.
"When taxi Jeopardy! comes on vs. when taxi Jeopardy! keeps repeating interspersed only with Jimmy Kimmel clips," he cheekily wrote in the caption on April 12.
When fans saw Ken's unexpected capture of watching himself in a taxi cab, it sparked an idea for what he could be doing next. A few different commenters, inspired by the clip, requested that he expand his hosting duties as the face of a new taxi version of Jeopardy!
"Maybe you should host a taxi version of Jeopardy! Just like CASH CAB," one person suggested. "Either way, it's got to be quite an experience simultaneously being and seeing 'Jeopardy' on the go," another implied. "Double Ken! đ," a different follower added.
Clearly, Ken is having a good time hosting Jeopardy! and won't be leaving any time soon. What's more, he's hosting another spinoff of the hit franchise, which is coming to TV at the end of the month.
Jeopardy! Masters season 3 is set to premiere on April 30, 2025 on ABC, so it's only a matter of time before we get to see Ken try new tricks out with contestants and audiences alike. Couple that with him also being the host of Celebrity Jeopardy!, and he's quite a busy man.
Of course, should he ever want to branch off and try something new, we wouldn't mind it at all.
