- Actress Viola Davis shared the product she counts on to make her eyes stand out.
- She uses L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Panorama Mascara.
- The mascara is currently on sale for $11 on Amazon.
One thing we know about Viola Davis is that she doesn’t shy away from portraying bold, confident characters on screen. From her role as Annalise Keating in How to Get Away With Murder, to her most recent character, President Danielle Sutton in G20, Viola knows how to channel fearless and dauntless women. It turns out, bold is her signature when it comes to her beauty routine as well.
The star revealed in an interview with Marie Claire that her cosmetics choices are always going to reflect the confidence she seeks to emulate, whether she’s on a red carpet or the silver screen. And that is just what she gets with the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Panorama Mascara.
“I like walking in the room and people seeing me [...] and I love eyes because I feel like that is an asset of mine,” Viola told the outlet. The Woman King star shared that she wore the mascara, which is currently on sale for $11 (regularly $16), during the Cannes Film Festival red carpet last year.
But she’s not the only one who is a fan of the volumizing mascara. In fact, it has garnered over 4,500 five-star reviews on Amazon, with reviewers touting its ability to give lashes a dramatic boost without the appearance of clumping.
“This is a very good volumizing mascara in the sense that this makes it look like I have LOTS of lashes. It isn't too clumpy, removes okay (as I use just cleanser and warm water) and just makes my lashes look good!” one reviewer said. “I barely have any lashes and this product gives them volume and makes them appear longer at the same time,” another added.
Plus, the Good Housekeeping Institute stands behind the mascara’s smooth application and non-irritating formula. It was named the best mascara for sensitive eyes as testers found that it was buildable and did not cause eye redness.
It's no wonder Viola trusts the mascara to help her feel her best for her big, camera-ready moments. And we're so glad she decided to let us in on her hack.
