Actress, singer, podcast host and mother, Keke Palmer is routinely in “all the modes.” So, when the star let us in on the secret behind making time for self-care in the midst of such a busy schedule, you better believe we were all ears.
“Sometimes the only self-care I get is five minutes, but trust me I make it count,” the Baby, This Is Keke Palmer podcast host shared in a recent Instagram post in partnership with Shea Moisture. She then revealed her “two-step no time self-care hack,” which includes a $11 body scrub she credits to “glowing” skin.
“Step one, exfoliate,” Keke says as she pulls out SheaMoisture’s Manuka Honey Oatmeal Smooth and Exfoliating Body Scrub and begins to buff it into her skin. “You got to get that dead skin off.”
The brand describes the scrub as infused with manuka honey, oatmeal and oat milk and made with fair trade shea butter. It is also marketed as being free from sulfates, parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, and petrolatum. Keke says she pairs it with the SheaMoisture Manuka Honey Oatmeal Body Wash to keep her “skin glowing” and “mood lifted.”
“Time spent: less than five minutes. Boom. And just like that, I’m back to business,” Keke shares at the end of her routine. Her fans were quick to share their support in the comments. “Love this!” one fan wrote. “Ordered,” another person added.
But this isn’t the first time Keke has let us in on her beauty secrets. She also shared her makeup routine with Vogue, where she detailed how she gets her everyday look and outlined some of her favorite go-to products.
“Im very much into like ‘oh my gosh did she do her makeup? Maybe she did. She’s such a fab girl naturally,’” she shared at the time.
