The new season of Married to Real Estate is in full swing and off to an amazing start. Egypt and Mike have already found and renovated a home for a couple looking to upgrade from their small New York City apartment. In the latest episode, the duo makes Egypt's friends' dreams come true with stunning kitchen renovations. While we could go on about how much we love the end results, it's this clip that deserves some attention:
"In this house, the washing machine stays on and there's always bed sheets inside of there," admitted Mike. Why? Well, because they're always refreshing their linens after their dog, Serene, gets on them. "Serene jumps on everything—the sofas, the chairs—and I'm okay with animals laying on the bed. Mike is not," Egypt says.
Naturally, pet parents immediately flooded the comment section of the Instagram clip to share their opinions and let's just say the verdict is definitely divided. Some fans wrote, "Big yes," "Animals?!? Ummm family! ❤️😍," and "Absolutely! Cuddle time!"
Meanwhile, there were also fans on Mike's side who left comments like, "BIG NO for me," "No dog on the sofa and definitely not in the bed." Another person wrote, "Love you Egypt, but I'm with Mike."
It's pretty clear that pet owners have strong opinions when it comes to pets on furniture, just like the Married to Real Estate stars. But from the looks of it, Egypt gets the last laugh because their dog, Serene, looked mighty comfortable sitting on the couch at the end of the Instagram clip.
