Get ready, Gilmore Girls fans — the creators of our favorite comfort show are officially bringing another TV show to viewers!
Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, the brains behind some of our other favorite shows, including The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, are bringing a new series to life called Étoile.
Set in both New York and Paris, Deadline reports that the eight-episode series revolves around two ballet directors (played by The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Luke Kirby and singer and actress Charlotte Gainsbourg), whose dance companies are struggling in finding both performers and an audience. With this in mind, the directors decide they'll do a dancer swap, so that their respective employees get a taste of what dancing is like in a different city with a different director.
But that's not even the best news. Fan-favorite Yanic Truesdale, who played Michel Gerard
in Gilmore Girls, will also be in all eight episodes, according to IMBD! When Yanic announced the news on Instagram, fans were immediately excited. "This is going to be so good," one person wrote. "Very excited! So happy you’re in it," said another. "Best news ever," someone else said.
And luckily, Amazon Prime Video decided to drop a teaser trailer on March 26 as fans wait for the show's debut on April 24.
Ah, this looks so good!
