Meghan Markle is giving more frequent glimpses at her life now that she’s back on Instagram, and that includes posting photos of her kids here and there. On Monday morning, Meghan shared a joint post with her lifestyle brand As Ever’s account. “Every day is a love story 🕊️,” she captioned the post, featuring her holding 3-year-old Lilibet while 5-year-old Archie hugs her leg.

Meghan kept their faces hidden, but their very red hair, which they inherited from their famous ginger father, Prince Harry, was on display.

Meghan and Harry have not shown their children’s faces for years in any media they share. This decision was made in part to protect their privacy, as Meghan and Harry lost their U.K. police protection after they stepped back as senior working members of the royal family in 2020. (Harry has been fighting in court for the right to pay for it when the family visits the U.K.)

In August 2024, a source explained to Us Weekly that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex really wish things were different. “I think every parent wants to share their kid with the world, but they just can’t,” the source said.

“[Harry’s brother, Prince] William’s kids, for example, have way more safety, even though they’re recognizable,” the insider added, as Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have police protection. “And the same doesn’t apply to Meghan and Harry’s children. They know the world wants to see [them, but] I would expect them to live smaller lives until that gets sorted, if it ever does.”

Meghan last shared a pic of Lilibet and Archie on the first day of spring last week. Lili appears holding a basket to pick strawberries, while Archie is seemingly in the background.
