Kelly Clarkson just marked an epic milestone with her time on daytime television ... and what better way to do it than by singing a music classic?

Fans love hearing The Kelly Clarkson Show host perform covers every weekday as part of her "Kellyoke" segment. While she's sung songs from a plethora of artists over the years, she decided she'd bring out the big guns to celebrate the NBC series' 1,000th episode. To help commemorate the occasion, she wowed audiences by tapping into the music catalog of none other than Whitney Houston. As Kelly stood onstage in a bright pink jumpsuit, she amazed the crowd with her breathtaking version of Whitney's song "I Have Nothing." What's more, the show's social team had to comment how it was the perfect way to kick off a moment like this.

"A special treat to celebrate 1000 episodes 🤩 ‘I Have Nothing’ by Whitney Houston #kellyoke," read the caption on the Instagram clip.

Given how Kelly never ceases to cause a stir among viewers, seeing her tap into Whitney's music had them weeping in the Instagram comments.

"So much I wanna say ... just wait till I’m done crying!!! 😭," one person wrote. "Whitney Houston just got Kelly Clarkson’d and I know she is up in heaven BEAMING at that! Perfection! 🙌," another declared. "Oh my goodness! Wow! Kelly lives every word in real time. It's pure magic to witness," a different follower added.

Now this is a way to kick off a special day for Kelly! But the "Kellyoke" cover wasn't the only way Kelly enjoyed the auspicious day. She also had the chance to see a montage of moments from over the years with her daughter River Rose and son Remington "Remy" Alexander. And if that wasn't enough, she welcomed media mogul Tyler Perry and actress Alicia Vikander to The Kelly Clarkson Show, where they all talked about upcoming projects while enjoying Swedish candy.

Now, excuse us as we go back and watch Kelly's performance all over again ...
