This story contains spoilers from When Calls the Heart season 12.

When Calls the Heart season 12 is officially wrapping up on Hallmark ... and fans aren't ready to say goodbye yet.

The hit period drama continues to draw in viewers every week, and the season 12 finale is certainly no different. Ahead of the episode airing on March 23, though, folks got to see a sneak peek of what's down the pipeline for our favorite citizens of Hope Valley. And judging from the video posted on Instagram on March 17, there's a lot to be explored before the show ends for the moment.

In the clip, viewers watched as Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) and Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) have a heartfelt moment after Little Jack (Hyland Goodrich)'s scary diabetes diagnosis. And if that's not enough, it seems like Edie (Miranda MacDougall) and Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) may finally strike up a romance ... if only they weren't busy solving a mystery of their own. No matter the case, it looks like a lot is about to happen — and Hallmark wanted to get us ready for it.

When fans realized When Calls the Heart was finishing airing all season 12 episodes, it led many to voice how much they want more installments to come their way.

"Noo, don't want it to end 😢 What a great season! 🙌🏻 *impatiently waiting for S13 announcement* 🥹💜," one person wrote in the comments. "Please say there is a season 13 and not far off!!!! ❤️ WCTH ❤️," another exclaimed. "Then we’ll have to wait nearly a year for the next season 😢," a different follower added.

Even though When Calls the Heart hasn't been renewed just yet, we can only hope season 13 is on its way. And given how Hallmark loves to give a heads up on the future of their shows ahead of the finales, it's only a matter of time before we learn about whether we get to see Hope Valley on our screens again.
