From acting on the small screen to working behind the scenes, Aisha Hinds is stepping into a new role for 9-1-1.

The actress has been playing Henrietta "Hen" Wilson on the hit ABC drama, and her character is an essential first responder at the 118. Well, it looks like Aisha is taking a different step in her career, as she announced on Instagram she will be making her directing debut for the season 8 episode "Holy Mother of God." And if that wasn't enough, it won't be long before fans get to see her work on TV. That's because she revealed her episode will air on ABC on Thursday, March 20, 2025.

"•| D I R E C T • H E R |• @911onabc #WomensHistoryMonth," she wrote in an emotional caption. "I got to do a thing. An illuminating, exhilarating, invigorating, educating, joy elevating thing. A seed was planted. A wish was granted. There aren’t enough ways or words to convey my immense gratitude for a crew I treasure and my fellow family of cast that helped carry this historic first for me with such care. Airs THURSDAY, MARCH 20 at 8p/7c on @abc stream on @hulu."

When fans discovered Aisha's latest career move, they couldn't help but voice their excitement about what's to come.

"🔥 THERE SHE GOES 🔥 cannot wait to see the episode!!!" one person wrote. "We are so proud of you for this accomplishment!!! Congrats Aisha! Looking forward to the episode!" another agreed. "Congrats!!!! So excited to see you knock it out of the park," a different follower added.

Well, isn't this exciting news to share! As far as what Aisha's episode will be about, it looks like the premise will be one that may just bring about a release of emotions.

According to an official press release from ABC, "Holy Mother of God" will follow the 118 as they respond to an emergency at a mega church. What's more, while on call, Bobby Nash (Peter Krause) unexpectedly runs into his estranged mom. Elsewhere, Evan "Buck" Buckley (Oliver Stark) is trying to make new friends after Eddie Diaz (Ryan Guzman) left for Texas to be closer to his son.
