Hold up — what's going on with Kelly Clarkson? We just got her back on TV ... so where is she?
For the past two weeks, fans were concerned for the TV personality's wellbeing after she was absent from The Kelly Clarkson Show throughout early March. Viewers were relieved to finally see Kelly back on the air for the Tuesday, March 18 episode, after a number of celebrity guest hosts stepped in. But now, there's even more confusion about whether her comeback is permanent.
As shared in a post on The Kelly Clarkson Show's Instagram, it turned out Kelly would be absent for the Wednesday, March 19 episode of the NBC series. What's more, Watch What Happens Live emcee Andy Cohen would take her place as guest host — and he's set to perform his own cover of Kelly's song "Since U Been Gone" while in the spotlight as well.
"@bravoandy is taking over the host chair AND the stage!" read the official caption. "PLUS @chrissyteigen, @amh4real, and a huge surprise for @dreamteamdesmoines!"
When folks learned Kelly would once again miss an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, they immediately raised concerns about where she may be.
"What’s going on? Where is Kelly?" one person inquired in the comments. "Where [is] Kelly at?????" another agreed. "For real, we don’t care, where the hell is Kelly? U got us fans a bit worried over here," a different follower added.
Even though it's unclear as to why Kelly hasn't been appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show, fans don't need to worry. She'll be back in the hosting role to celebrate the show's 1,000th episode on March 20, and should continue on as host moving forward. While the show with Andy Cohen was already taped, The Kelly Clarkson Show exclusively shared with Good Housekeeping on March 17 that Kelly is back to filming new episodes. So, it looks like we'll get to see a lot more of Kelly on our screens very soon.
