The iconic HGTV series Love It or List It is back — this time with a new designer. Since the announcement of fan-favorite Hilary Farr's departure from the show in 2023, fans have missed the signature witty banter between the co-hosts that defined the series.
So who's going to step up and duel experienced real estate agent David Visentin? HGTV has tapped designer Page Turner.
“HGTV fans first came to love Page Turner on Flip or Flop Nashville and Fix My Flip and were introduced to her competitive side in two seasons of Rock the Block,” said HGTV's Head of Content Loren Ruch in a press release. “Her extensive background in real estate and design will be a superpower as she enters into this celebrated real estate rivalry. We cannot wait to watch her give David a run for his money.”
After 19 successful seasons on air, it's no surprise Love It or List It has a very loyal fanbase, so much so that viewers are expressing both their anticipation and apprehension about the upcoming season. It returns to HGTV on April 21 at 10pm ET.
"Excited for you Page and wish Hillary well. I have loved your designs in your past competitions and shows. You have a strong design aesthetic and point of view that distinguishes your talent from being run of the mill. I think this is a good fit for you," wrote one commenter on Instagram.
Another wrote, "I will miss Hilary! Not sure anyone can fill her shoes and the banter between her and David, but I’m all for a new phase in this great show. Bring on Page and let’s get the party started."
Will this new dynamic duo live up to fans' expectations? HGTV shared the following repartee between the two in a press release ahead of the season premiere:
“I have hundreds of flips and renovations under my belt and I’m not afraid to say that I know a thing or two about real estate,” said Page.
“Well, you’re going to need all of that experience because you’re going up against me,” quipped David.
“I like a challenge, in fact, I Iove a challenge,” laughed Page.
“Let’s see if you still love it when they say, ‘list it,’ said David.
Until the 20th season of Love It or List It returns to HGTV on April 21, fans will just have to wait for the first showdown between Visentin and Turner to form their judgment.
