We only just found out major news about Criminal Minds: Evolution — but Paget Brewster has even more news to share about what's to come!
In early March, fans of the Criminal Minds reboot discovered season 3 (season 18 overall) of the drama would be airing on Paramount+ on May 8, 2025. But that's not all, as it was also revealed that Criminal Minds: Evolution would be back for season 4 (season 19 overall). Well, it looks like we may have gotten another clue about what's happening at the BAU, thanks to Paget (who plays BAU Chief Emily Prentiss) posting an unexpected TV update on X (formerly Twitter).
Posting a snippet of her doing physical therapy amid an elbow fracture back in February, Paget shared that production for the newest season of Criminal Minds: Evolution would be starting sooner than folks may think. The cast is gearing up to go back to set and film the next installment as early as May 2025.
"I’m doing my physical therapy at home, gunning it to get better for @criminalminds season 19," she shared in the caption. "We start shooting in May!"
Given how viewers were excited to learn about Criminal Minds: Evolution getting renewed, seeing the news of a filming schedule had them screaming in the comments.
"Ahhh shooting in May is so soon!! I’m so excited!! We love you so much!!" one person wrote on X. "IM SO EXCITED AHHHHH. I hope you are healing well ❤️ sending you so much love!" another replied. "Congratulations on being renewed for another season! I can’t wait to watch season 18 soon and see more Prentiss badassery 😌," a different follower added.
Now, this is something we absolutely can get behind. And while we don't know what else is in store for Criminal Minds: Evolution, we're counting down the days until we see Paget back on our screens this spring!
Needless to say, we can't wait to see what's next.
