Vanna White is doing something she's never done before — and it all came with the help of her daughter, Giovanna "Gigi" Santo Pietro.
In a surprise twist of events, the Wheel of Fortune co-host went online to reveal an unexpected personal move she made. Standing in front of a tattoo parlor, she expressed her desire to get inked. Bringing her followers with her on the journey, folks got the chance to learn how Gigi (who is a tattoo artist) was involved in her mother's process of getting a pink heart on the inside of her left wrist. What's more, Vanna had a sentimental reason for why she chose to get that particular shape as her first tattoo.
"OK, so here I am — I'm about to get my first tattoo," she stated in a TikTok clip shared on March 10. "I have a beautiful daughter, Gigi, who is a tattoo artist. She's not making me do this. It's my choice to do this ... What I decided I want to get is a little heart, right here. So, I can look at it every day because [Gigi] did it."
When fans learned about Vanna doing something out of the box for her, they couldn't stop sharing how much they enjoyed seeing her take this step with Gigi.
"How special to have your daughter do this for you! 💗," one person wrote in the comments. "Yo, why am I tearing up 😭 mother daughter bonding ♡♡," another agreed. "What a sweet moment. thanks for sharing this with us, Miss Vanna (and Gigi!)," a different follower added.
As fans may know, Vanna has two kids with her ex-husband George Santo Pietro: Gigi and her brother Nicholas "Nikko." When speaking with People in October 2023 about Gigi's career path, she couldn't help but share pride over it.
"I said, ‘Gigi, why tattooing?'" she stated at the time. "She goes, 'Mom, my art is on someone's body for the rest of their lives.' I was like, 'That's pretty cool,'" "You have to be so good and confident. You can't mess up. She absolutely loves it. I'm so, so proud of her."
We love to see it!
