This story contains light spoilers from The Way Home season 3.
It looks like Hallmark isn't done with The Way Home just yet.
The hit drama has been airing on the popular TV network since 2023, and fans continue to fall in love with the interpersonal stories involving the three generations of Landry women. While The Way Home season 3 just finished airing new episodes, fans will be excited to learn that the show's journey isn't over just yet.
In a surprise announcement made by Deadline on March 6, fans learned that Hallmark renewed The Way Home for season 4. What's more, Hallmark confirmed the exciting news by posting an Instagram video of Andie MacDowell (who portrays Delilah "Del" Watson Landry) and Chyler Leigh (who plays Katherine "Kat" Landry Dhawan) making the big reveal.
"Breaking! The news you’ve been waiting for is here!" read the caption. "#AndieMacDowell and @chy_leigh have some EXCITING NEWS! Watch now! 🌊😉."
When folks learned The Way Home would be returning for another season, they couldn't keep their excitement out of the comments.
"OMG OMG IM ACTUALLY SCREAMING I HAVE NO ONE TO SEND THIS TO AAAAA ❤️," one person shouted. "So excited! I love this show and all the phenomenal actors," another penned. "🙌 Yaaay! No riots necessary!! This show is 🔥🔥🔥 the best thing I've watched in years," a different follower replied.
We have to say, this is quite exciting news for Hallmark to share! And with season 3 leaving The Way Home on a cliffhanger, it's good to know that we won't be left wondering how the Landrys and their loved ones are faring.
Speaking of what's to come on The Way Home season 4, fans know the season 3 finale had quite a few bombshells. Between Elliot "Eli" Augustine (Evan Williams) discovering his mom time traveled with him as a baby (and with a Landry, no less!), Colton "Cole" Landry (Jefferson Brown) learning Alice "Ali" Dhawan (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) is his granddaughter and Jacob "Jake" Landry (Spencer Macpherson) leaving his family, there's a lot to figure out for everyone in Port Haven.
Well, we'll be sure to tune in when new episodes air!
