The Voice has officially begun the Battle Rounds portion of competition, and Michael Bublé already has some thoughts about the talent competing this season!

Season 27 of the NBC series is airing on Monday nights, and Michael (along with his fellow coaches Adam Levine, Kelsea Ballerini and John Legend) is busy mentoring his team to success. But he also is on hand to share feedback about competitors not on his team, and that's exactly what he did during a vocal battle between Team Adam's Ethan Eckenroad and Fran Polsa on the March 10 episode.

The two aspiring musicians were faced with singing "July" by Noah Cyrus and Leon Bridges, and their unique take on the track had the coaches in awe of their abilities. Michael in particular was stunned by their version of the song, and he had high praise to share about it.

"I think that's my favorite duet today," he shared in a clip posted on YouTube. "It looked like you were leaves in a windstorm. It sort of ... coming in after each other and ... I don't know, I turned into like a weird ... Fran you have a beautiful voice, and it's unique. You have great control. Ethan, I think you have one of those voices that's just soft and beautiful."

When fans saw Michael give a massive compliment to Ethan and Fran, they all took his side in agreement in the comments.

"These two could easily work together for the long term!! ❤️," one person wrote. "Both of them are storytellers. So much character in their voices. I could see them as a folk/country duo. Good stuff," another declared. "They sound amazing together! ❤️," a different follower added.

So, who eventually made it out on top? In the end, Ethan won the battle, and he had the chance to stay one more round as part of Team Adam. But given how Michael felt about Ethan's vocals, it may lead to something potentially changing along the way ...
