Some HGTV fans grew concerned last week when a new episode of Fixer to Fabulous didn't show up on their DVRs, causing them to wonder if the popular series had ended. But the show's star Jenny Marrs took to Instagram to clear the air on questions of the show's future, and tease what's to come.
For fans asking, "Is season 6 over?" Jenny replied, "Nope - we still have six all-new episodes! (Airing Tuesday nights at 8/7c on HGTV). I know there was an issue with this week’s episode not recording on some DVR’s. There was a blip with some service providers—the network is aware and working to get this resolved."
Jenny also addressed viewers wondering, "How long does it take to film a season?" She said, "Last year, we started filming in early April and wrapped this February. We will start working on the next season this coming Monday 🙌 and will work through the end of the year." And, yes, you read that correctly—Fixer to Fabulous has been renewed for season 7!
A fan asked for clarification in the comments, asking "Did you just confirm that there will be another season. 😱😱😱😱" and Jenny replied, "shhhh 😉" Jenny also explained that, while viewers only see one home per episode, she and Dave are often working on 4 or 5 homes at a time—that means we have plenty of new designs to look forward to!
The designer also cleared up one of the most common questions HGTV stars get: "Do you share paint colors?" Jenny answered, "Yes! Each week, I share an episode guide with before & after photos and details on the renovation including sources and paint colors." You can find all of the details on her website!
If you missed last week's episode, you can stream it on Max!
