The 2025 Oscars are officially over — and Adrien Brody took home one of the biggest awards of the night.

The highly-publicized ceremony occurred on March 2, and folks watched the actor win the coveted Best Actor award for playing László Tóth in The Brutalist. Upon learning he won, viewers witnessed Adrien embrace his partner Georgina Chapman before he made his way onto the stage to accept the award. As he began his speech, Adrien couldn't help but tear up and express his gratitude for his journey as an artist.

"I feel so fortunate," he said in a clip posted on X (formerly Twitter). "Acting is a very fragile profession. It looks very glamorous, and in certain moments it is. But, the one thing that I've gained having the privilege to come back here, is to have some perspective. And no matter where you are in your career, no matter what you've accomplished, it can all go away. I think what makes this night most special is the awareness of that, and the gratitude that I have to still do the work that I love."

"Winning an award like this — it signifies a destination," he added. "To me, it also, beyond the pinnacle of a career, is the chance to begin again and the opportunity to hopefully be fortunate enough for that the next 20 years of my life, that I can prove that I'm worthy of such meaningful and important and relevant roles."

When clips of Adrien's moving speech went viral online, fans were as equally choked up as he was.

"What an actor he is! Congratulations, Adrien Brody! 💥💥💥💥," one person wrote on X. "I love Adrien Brody dawg! so happy for him!" another commented. "Adrien Brody is the real winner of the night," a different follower added.

It's important to note that this isn't the first time Adrien has won an Oscar. He previously picked up the Best Actor award for The Pianist in 2003, when he was just 29 years old.

Congrats, Adrien — we're so happy for you!
