Jodie Foster, 62, stunned this past weekend at the Critics Choice Awards, where she was nominated for Best Actress in a Limited Series (alongside great company!) for her role in True Detective: Night Country. The much-anticipated return of the show happened last year, but the buzz around it is obviously still going strong, especially with Foster's knock-out performance as Detective Liz Danvers.
Our office, however, can't stop buzzing about how incredible Foster looked on the red carpet this weekend. In an elegant-yet-bold Armani gown, the True Detective star awed with her unmistakable presence at the awards show, particularly with her youthful and flawless complexion.
Curious minds are eager to know: how does the star look still look as fresh faced as she did when the show started 10 years ago? According to her makeup artist, Brett Freedman, the secret is all in the $38 moisturizer her uses to prep the star's skin. "I mixed with a swirl of FarmHouse Fresh’s perfectly perfect Three Milk Moisturizer (into her foundation)," he revealed. "It’s my transforming secret weapon!" Freedman says that mixing the moisturizer with Tarte's Face Tape foundation "sheer(s) out the formula" to give a more lightweight appearance.

The moisturizer, which is the brand's best-selling product, combines coconut milk, milk thistle, and milk vetch to create a lightweight and ultra-hydrating moisturizer that refreshes and plumps skin "with a clinical age-reversing peptide to help erase the appearance of lines as it deeply moisturizes skin," according to the website.
Another favorite from Farmhouse Fresh: the Dew Ritual Triple Lipid Facial Oil. Freedman starts Foster's makeup routine with this, saying it's "so lightweight but packs a hydrating punch. (It's) a bonus that it works just beautifully under makeup." To brighten up the star's under-eye, Freedman follows the moisturizer with Farmhouse Fresh's Stunning Dawn Brightening Eye Cream.
To finish the look, Freedman used the Farmhouse Fresh Pink Dusk Illuminating Peptide Serum as a highlighter on the apples of her cheeks, tip of her nose and center of her chin for a dewy glow. He also used the brand's Plump Up Pretty Peptide Lip Treatment for "the perfect ‘your color a little more vivid’ moment."
