It's officially a new year, but it's safe to say Shania Twain is still the one! The 59-year-old singer helped Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper ring in 2025 on CNN's New Year's Eve special. Shania joined the broadcast from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, the site of her ongoing residency. She performed "From This Moment On" from her 1997 album Come on Over.

Shania shared a video of the performance with her fans on Instagram and wrote, "'From This Moment On' feels like a good motto to take into a new year! Let’s step into 2025 with a positive outlook and hearts full of love ❤️🎉 Happy New Year!! Wishing you all a year of health, happiness and good times - See you on the road!"

She wore a dramatic tulle gown befitting of the occasion. Some fans questioned the audio quality and thought the background vocals were too loud, but most showered her with compliments on the performance:

  • "Such a beautiful song from such a talented young lady 🔥❤️"
  • "An incredible moment experiencing this in Vegas, beautiful!"
  • "This dress is literally my favourite outfit👑♥️🖤"
  • "This song... ♥️ "From This Moment On" is so beautiful, timeless and awakens such intense emotions in me! Thank you, @shaniatwain, for giving it voice and soul and singing to our hearts, year after year. Always. *"
  • "Butterflies!"

Shania's "Come on Over" residency continues into February. If your New Year's resolution is to see her in concert, now's your chance!
