Reba McEntire's fans have been on cloud nine since Happy’s Place—the country music star's new sitcom with Melissa Peterman—premiered on NBC back in October. Getting to watch the real-life besties play off each other’s energy for the past few weeks has been nothing short of nostalgic and entertaining. Little did viewers know, though, Reba had yet another surprise in store for her early '00s sitcom fans.

On December 6, Reba, Melissa, and their old Reba co-star Steve Howey (Van Montgomery) took to Instagram to surprise fans with a reel to the tune of Kim Kardashian’s viral “We’re Back” blurb. In the clip, the trio lip-syncs, “Hey guys, we’re baaaack! Did you miss us? Because we missed you.”

The best part? The Instagram reveal was only a blip of the reunion. Steve didn’t merely visit the set, he actually joined Reba and Melissa in an episode of Happy’s Place entitled “Ho-Ho-Howey.” And by the looks of the comments section, fans definitely missed the beloved Reba trio.

“The reunion we never knew we needed—this is epic,” one fan exclaimed. “Yes, yes, yes, and more yes!!! Merry Christmas to me,” someone else commented. “Stop it!!! Van is backkkkkkk,” another fan chimed in. “This episode was a RIOT to watch at taping—and all the times Steve called Reba Mrs. H was UGH,” someone else commented. “I can’t explain my gasp of disbelief!!! Welcome back. And yes! You were missed,” another Instagrammer marveled.

With a handful of episodes left in the premiere season of Happy’s Place, now fans can’t help but wonder: Which Reba character will make a cameo next? “Ok, now bring on Cheyenne, Kyra, Jake, and Brock,” an Instagrammer requested.

New episodes of Happy’s Place air on Friday nights at 8/7c on NBC. That said, the season is currently on holiday hiatus, returning Friday, January 3. To relish Steve’s cameo, stream Happy’s Place Season 1, Episode 7, on Peacock or Hulu.
