Guess what, Valerie Bertinelli fans? The TV personality is making an exciting career move.
The former Food Network star has been making a turn as a lifestyle expert on The Drew Barrymore Show, but she's also made a name for herself the last few years as the host of Kids Baking Championship. Now, Valerie is putting her hosting shoes back on as the Game Show Network (GSN) just announced she'll be emceeing a new show called Bingo Blitz.
Folks learned of this exciting news from Valerie herself, thanks to a surprise video she posted on Instagram on December 10.
"Hi everyone! I am Valerie Bertinelli and I'm so excited to share with you that I am the host of an all-new show called Bingo Blitz," she said in the short clip. "You are going to love it! I know — because I love it! So, stay tuned!"
Fans immediately bombarded her with excitement in the comments.
"Yea. Will definitely tune in. Congratulations Val 😉😉," one person wrote. "OK excited for you! Can’t wait to watch," another declared. "Oh yeah! I love the game and I love you, perfect match! So happy you are back on TV, congratulations 🙌," a different follower added.
So, what is the premise of Bingo Blitz? Although there aren't any official press releases from GSN about it yet, it'll likely be based on the popular game app that can be downloaded on mobile devices.
That said, Valerie is already giving us a sneak peek of what's to come. Posting a few Instagram images on December 3 from what appeared to be a studio dressing room, the Hot in Cleveland alum can be seen posing in front of the mirror while waiting to possibly go on stage and perform her hosting duties.
We can't wait to see more in the coming weeks. Congrats, Valerie!
