Back in the 1990s, fans knew Lacey Chabert and Jennifer Love Hewitt for portraying Claudia Salinger and Sarah Reeves in the hit drama Party of Five. While the show has long since ended, is there a chance they'll share the screen once again? If Jennifer has anything to say about it, the day may come sooner than later.

The 9-1-1 star spoke with Parade about starring in her new Christmas film The Holiday Junkie, which comes out on Lifetime on December 14. As the conversation turned to how her former co-star Lacey also has holiday movies on her resume (her most recent Hallmark movie The Christmas Quest debuted as part of the network's "Countdown to Christmas" event), Jennifer revealed she and Lacey are always talking about joining forces for an epic holiday feature film. What's more, she already has ideas of what the premise could potentially entail.

"I just know that I think we should play sisters," the actress told the outlet in an interview published on November 26. "For years, everybody's always thought that we look very similar. I think that would be really fun, to play sisters at Christmas ... Netflix, send it our way, we're ready. Yeah, we want to do something together, and I think that would be really fun."

Even though the opportunity for Jennifer and Lacey to reunite is up in the air, at least we can cross our fingers!

And if that wasn't enough, the two continue to be supportive of each other's projects. Lacey commented on Jennifer's upcoming memoir Inheriting Magic (out December 10) and, as Jennifer noted, also couldn't hold back her excitement after seeing her The Christmas Junkie trailer.

"[Lacey] was the first text on my phone, saying, 'I'm crying. I'm so proud of you. You're in the Christmas space, yay,'" she added. "And I always text her pictures of me in my bed watching her new movies when they premiere. I just love her."

So, does this mean Jennifer is into watching Lacey's holiday movies, too? Like the good friend she is, Jennifer has seen every single one of them — and can't wait to see more from her.

"I'm always rooting for her," Jennifer concluded.

We so love to see this friendship continue to blossom!
